Stoked Wood Fired Pizzeria & Market: A Must-Eat Restaurant near Sooke, BC

This pizzeria is an absolute MUST!!! Especially if you’ve just finished the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail or the West Coast trail or you are ANYWHERE near SOOKE! Stoked Wood Fired Pizzeria & Market has such a cool vibe and hands down the best pizza I have ever had in my life!

The thin, soft-on-the-inside-with-a-light-crunch-on-the-surface pizza will leave you salivating for more. I personally recommend the Funghi pizza or the Hot Honey Calabrese.

Seating is outdoors and they have a few options—a nice top deck or covered patio and even some picnic tables that ARE DOG friendly. The ambience with rustic wood is laid back and the perfect place to eat outdoors or grab your pizza and head down to French beach… who knows, you might even see a pod of whales passing as it is their regular route of passage.

Another selling feature [as if there aren’t already enough!] is that they choose to feature local ingredients and products. There is an abundance of farmers, food producers, foragers, winemakers, brewers, and artists in the area and they collaborate with all of them to bring these ingredients and products to you!

Every time I walk in there, I’m immediately hit by a happy vibe, with the music cranked, a hot wood fire oven full of pizzas and a happy team ready and smiling. You MUST stop by and eat here! I promise you won’t regret it.

Must-Try Restaurant in Victoria: the Superflux {Cabana}

If you’re looking for a really good restaurant in Victoria, the Superflux {Cabana} is a MUST. It checks off every box and I recommend it to all my clients, friends, and family! Let me tell you why.

I particularly love the atmosphere here! It pays homage to 70s decor and mixes it with cabana boho beach vibes, making it the perfect place if you’re looking for a laid-back, chill atmosphere! The restaurant comfortably seats 110 visitors and the rooftop patio is absolutely incredible. If you love art, you’ll appreciate their own take on da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Botticelli’s Birth of Venus.

When it came time for bevvys, I had their signature beer—a Superflux Lager that was delivered in a gorgeous glass and went down very smoothly. We decided on the salmon dip as our appy and then we were taunted by every other dish that went by! The food was phenomenal, the drinks were incredible, and the atmosphere was unparalleled.  A must-try!
