Sooke is a very dear and special place to me and many others! The landscapes there will leave you jaw dropped and wanting more. It’s about a 25 minute drive to Langford and lies along the southwestern coast of Vancouver Island. It’s home to many locally owned small business and artisans. This seaside municipality stretches out along the rugged coastline and is home to many old-growth forests offering you completely untouched nature. Some of my favourite activities there are swimming at Sooke Potholes Regional Park, hiking the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and getting lost in East Sooke.
The Real Estate has been growing exponentially with unwavering demand for this seaside municipality. It is a community of around 13,000 and continues to grow. Currently they are working on some highway improvements that will shorten commute times and improve safety between Sooke and Langford, to be completed by the fall of 2022.
